1. The Scriptures. We believe the Holy Scriptures (66 Books) of the Old and New Testaments to be the only verbally plenary infallible inspired Word of God; inerrant in the original writings, but providentially preserved in its inspired state while maintaining infallibility and inerrancy in the King James Bible.
2. The Son. We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. Existed in eternity past with God the Father and the Holy Ghost. Jesus Christ was born into this world through the womb of a virgin named Mary, that he might fulfill the plan of redemption dying as a sacrifice for all mankind’s sin. Jesus Christ is the Son of God and God the Son. He lived a sinless life and died on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins and on the third day arose from the dead and was glorified in the same body in which he suffered and died. He is now our High Priest in Heaven appearing before the presence of God as our advocate and intercessor.
3. The Trinity. The Bible teaches a triune Godhead. God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit are coequal in power and glory as well as co-eternal.
4. The Holy Spirit We believe in the Holy Spirit as the third person of the Triune God, equal with the Father and the Son. He convicts the world of sin, righteousness and judgment; bears witness to the truth. He seals, endues, guides, teaches, witnesses to, sanctifies, and helps the believer; that He indwells them permanently, seals them unto the day of redemption. We believe that certain of the spiritual gifts of the Holy Spirit, such as apostleship. prophecy, tongues, healing, and revelation were temporary and are not to be expected today. We believe that the Holy Spirit testifies concerning Jesus Christ and never leads any person, at any time, contrary to the teaching of the Bible.
5. The Fall of Man. We believe that man was created in the image and likeness of God, but that in Adam's sin the human race fell and thereby incurred not only physical death, but also spiritual death, which is separation from God; and that all mankind is born with a sinful nature, is totally unable to regain their former position, and is therefore, under just condemnation to eternal ruin, in a literal hell without defense or excuse before God.
6. Salvation. We believe that salvation is by the grace of God, received as a free gift to a repentant sinner who, in faith, trusts Christ as Lord and Savior. Salvation was accomplished by Christ's death and most importantly through His sinless shed blood upon the cross. Without His shed blood salvation could never be possible. We reject the idea that man can lose his salvation. Salvation is solely upon the merit of what Christ has done for us, including His resurrection from the dead on the third day.
We believe that the Scriptures teach that regeneration, or the new birth, is that change in the soul by the Holy Spirit by which a new nature and spiritual life, not before possessed, are imparted, and the person becomes a new creation in Christ Jesus and without it salvation is impossible.

We are the Rauch family: John, Mandy, Ezekiel, Cassidy, Ezra, and Callie. For over twelve years, we have served faithfully in our home church through youth and children’s ministries, teaching, mentoring, and walking alongside families and young people as they grow in faith. Through these years, God has shaped our hearts for ministry and given us a deep desire to serve Him wherever He leads.
Now, God has placed a new calling on our family: to support missionaries and reach the lost throughout Central America. This calling has opened doors for us to use aviation as a tool to carry supplies, transport missionaries, and bring hope to remote communities that are often difficult to reach. Every flight is an opportunity to make a difference, and every mission is a step in obedience to God’s leading.
As a family, we are committed not only to serving alongside missionaries but also to modeling faith, teamwork, and compassion. We believe that ministry is not just about logistics or flights—it’s about relationships, encouragement, and bringing the love of Christ to those we serve. We are humbled by this calling and excited to see how God will use our family to impact lives across Central America.
The focus of our flying will be to serve rural missionaries and people. This will often require landing on unimproved grass, or gravel runways, riverbeds, or small clearings in Jungle areas. Guatemala has many grass runways, but the same cannot be said about the rest of Central America. Honduras for example has very few airports. From speaking with a missionary in Honduras, we have been informed that building airstrips is not possible there. If the Honduran air force sees a “clandestine runway” they will bomb it without question, with the assumption that the cartels are using it to run drugs. The Honduran missionary did say that every town in Honduras has a soccer field, and if we have an aircraft that can take off and land in 300’ we can fly into into every small village in the country. There are many small aircraft that can perform this task. This missionary travels 12 hours by boat, then finishes the journey on foot in some cases, just to get to an area where he ministers. with our ministry days of travel would be transformed into days of reaching the lost and discipling new believers.
We have a good relationship with an established missionary in Guatemala City. He has 30 years of church planting experience in Guatemala and is a licensed doctor. His name is Carlos Donate. Brother Donate asked us to consider keeping a warehouse in southern Texas or in Florida. With this warehouse, he has asked us to store medical supplies for transport to Central America. Using his medical experience, and our ability to fly, we can use medicine as an outreach to rural Guatemala. Many rural people still practice the old Mayan medicine and have little to no access to modern care. With a small airplane, we can land in these hard to reach areas, establish pop up clinics, and preach the gospel to those who have never heard the good news. Pastor Donate has told of some places in Guatemala that take 13 hours to reach by ground travel. With a small airplane, this time could be cut to well under two hours for most places in Guatemala, thus making the country as a whole far more accessible. This could have a large impact on the furtherance of the Gospel in the region. Aside from setting up clinics in rural areas, we will also be willing and ready to transport emergency cases to hospitals in Guatemala City by air
We will also work hand in hand with “Faith Steps Central America” to distribute gospel literature to all of Central America. Adbel and Taylor Cabnal have asked us to use aviation as a key method of distribution. They are members of Pastor Donate’s church, and feel led to begin a printing press and gospel distribution network. Many missionaries throughout Central America have asked for this literature and the Bibles that are coming from this ministry.
Faith Steps is very new and is having the material printed in the United States and shipped to them. Once imported to Guatemala, a large import tax is charged for the materials. In the future, Faith Steps intends to have its own printing press. This would allow for material to be printed in Guatemala and avoid import taxes. To distribute tracts and other materials through Central America requires crossing international borders. At every border crossing, an import tax must be paid. By the time materials make it to Panama, they would have crossed five borders. With aviation, borders can be bypassed. There are two legal options to solve the issue of international flight.
The first option given to an aviator is to fly 12 miles or more off the coast of any country. (This is considered international airspace) thus bypassing all border taxes except for the final destination.
The second option is to file for and pay a small fee for an overflight permit. These are generally very reasonably priced. For $30-$50 one could overfly each country and pay taxes only at the final destination. Aviation has the potential to lower distribution costs and times. This would allow for a more effective publishing ministry as a whole.
With an airplane, this ministry would effectively shrink Central America. We could assist a missionary in Panama one day, and the next day we could be helping in Honduras. Sometimes missionaries need a few days with their family, just to recover from the work. We can provide transport for these missionaries, who need some time away, and fill the pulpit while they are gone, either as a short break, or on furlough. We can provide fellowship and encouragement when others are going through hard times, loneliness, or are simply feeling fatigued.
Our calling and goal is to serve God, by serving His people. When there are more hands to bear a burden, the burden is easier to bear. When a burden is easier to bear, more work can be done. When more work is done, more souls are reached, and more new Christians can be discipled.
We are called, to go. We have submitted to God’s call. We ask humbly for your support, prayerfully, and financially in sending us to be Christ’s representatives in Central America.
